                               RESOLUTION NO. 19199
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ATLANTA BRAVES TO
                   WIN THE 1991 WORLD SERIES.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the City of Atlanta shall be 
required
       to win the 1991 World Series or return the stolen Civil War
       locomotive "General" to its rightful place in our community as
       consolation for the disappointment of our citizens and Braves
       fans.
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Councilman Leamon Pierce is
       hereby designated as our ambassador charged with the
       responsibility of delivering this resolution to the proper
       authorities in Atlanta prior to game four of the Series.
